About DAMA
Durham Area Masters Aquatics (DAMA) is a community of adult swimmers of all ages and abilities who want structured workouts in a fun and welcoming environment. We are beginners, lifelong swimmers, triathletes, dealing with injuries, open water swimmers, national champions, former college swimmers, and folks who just want to be in the water.
DAMA has been swimming in Durham since 2009. We provide access to opportunities that help adult swimmers meet their goals in a fun and supportive community. From training for competition to building skills for safety and fitness, DAMA helps all adults in the Durham area to swim.
About Masters Swimming
DAMA is a part of United States Masters Swimming (USMS). While that sounds very official and formal, it’s just the part of USA Swimming for grown-ups. Learn more about USMS on their website.
